   Hmmm. A question. Do you just go by the director in your ‘films watched’ sidebar? Because Edgar Wright co-wrote Shaun of The Dead with mr Simon Pegg. Simon is the genius behind it.

   Yes. A film’s director is, by definition, its ultimate creative authority and as such they are conventionally considered to be the work’s author, insofar as movies have such a thing.
