Some Days It’s Great To Be Alive

Have a nice funeral, fuckhead.

Sure hope no one accidentally drops a cluster bomb on it, killing your entire extended family and anybody who ever gave two shits about you.

Just kidding! Actually, I hope someone does. That would be funny as hell.

(To give him his due, it’s true he certainly had quite the way with words…)

Now please excuse me, dear readers; serious drinking etc

Splendiferous weekend wishes to you all!

There’s an image I could have done without.

Y’know, how does Condi suffer in that scenario? Condi must suffer also, dammnit! Horribly.

  4. fuckhead? why is he a fuckhead?

It’s really hard to know where to start; I could write pages, and many have. Google is your friend.
Very briefly, off the top of my head:
    – Because he was one of the primary architects – if not the primary architect – of two completely unnecessary (and in one case, flagrantly illegal) wars conducted entirely for the purposes of propaganda and greed, resulting in the pointless deaths of thousands and thousands and thousands of people – many many many of them innocent civilians.
    – Because he was ‘our’ answer to the Iraqi Information Minister, knowingly lying to and bamboozling the public on a daily basis on mass scale with a truly horrific degree of success.
He is a psychopathic mass murderer – and he got away with it, because he committed his ‘crimes’ officially on behalf of the most powerful government in the world.
I could go on, but isn’t that enough?

I assume you mean Afghanistan and Iraq? The Bush Administration authorized to send troops there in order to dismantle the Al Qaeda terroist network who, according to intel gathered by the CIA, was responsible for the 9.11 attacks. Not to mention, Al Qaeda had attackedd our troops (and threatened to destroy us) in the past. Later, based on a video made by Osama Bin Laden, we confirmed their involvement.
ALL of “our” Allies (sorry I’m not used to speaking about this matter with others NOT from the US!) and the overwhelming majority of the American people, including myself, supported Mr. Bush when he sent troops to Afghanistan.
I have no problem with the above.
My issues come with the invasion Iraq. I believe Mr. Bush rushed into war without taking the time to gain support from several other nations.
    Was Sadaam a threat? Yes.
Did Sadaam threaten the U.S. with an attack? No.
Was he murdering his own people and as a result violating U.N. law? Yes.
Was he involved with global terrorist activities? Yes.
Was he directly inolved with Al Qaeda? No, we do not believe so.
Did he attend an international terrorist conference WITH Al Qaeda? Yes.
Are the above grounds for invasion? Not right away, in fact I believe we could have already solved the situation diplomatically by NOW instead of having troops and civilians die.
I HATE war. No I’m not a hippe. Anyone who loves war (some of my Republican friends I have beers with) are mentally ill.
    >propaganda and greed
I don’t know what you are referring to here.
    >Being ‘our’ answer to the Iraqi Information Minister, knowingly lying to and bamboozling the public on a daily basis on mass scale with a truly horrific degree of success.
He never lied, he based his speech on false CIA intel.
‘We know where the weapons of mass destruction are’
    >He is a psychopathic mass murderer – and he got away with it, because he committed his ‘crimes’ officially on behalf of the most powerful government in the world.
Anybody who wants to be in league with the President (or have the desire, strength, and will-power to take the path to become President) cannot be sane.
I don’t see him as a mass murderer and what “crimes” has he committed?
All that being said I really enjoy another point of view outside of the U.S. !!
    Take care,
    Steve

See above; devastating two countries and orchestrating the deaths of thousands of people, for absolutely no good reason.
Not the slightest bit interested in arguing with you about it.
Wake up, and get back to me then.

This is a good and fair point, though!

    lol… okay?
There is a difference between discussing through debate and arguing. I suppose though if you view politics so negatively you will see it as arguing.
    Have fun with it Teigs!
But the fact that I have to tune closer towards your point of view (waking up) before I am given the oh so holy permission of speaking with you is fucking funny as hell.
    Love you lots (really),
    Steve.

    Interesting quote! Thanks!

Discussion through debate is fun. I’m a big fan.
Arguing pointlessly from profoundly incompatible perspectives over basically irreconcilable differences of opinion, otoh, is tedious and a waste of time.
    >before I am given the oh so holy permission of speaking with
    >you is fucking funny as hell.
Oi, calm down – when did I ever say you couldn’t speak to me?
    Deep breaths, Steve
    >Interesting quote! Thanks!
    Thought it might appeal.

Okay. I don’t think that is the case with Donald and his “murder.” Do we really have ‘incompatible’ perspectives. Do you not think we’d be able to find common ground on the matter – or agree to disagree? (once we found the reasoning behind our beliefs?)
    >Oi, calm down – when did I ever say you couldn’t speak to me?
Never! I was just putting words into your mouth 🙂
    >Deep breaths, Steve
Funny, I always thought you were the one to get agitated easily.
Also I’d really like to have a discussion with you about RAW (phone, skype or otherwise) sometime within the near future if you can find the time.
Anyway, going out to buy the new Pynchon book which came out T.O.D.A.Y. !!!
    lates,
    Steve
