Party II

This crazy Japanese girl gave ~ a terrible time a while back, but he invited her anyway.

Reanimator, Li, ~, a russian mathematician and i ended up watching Fight Club by candlelight at about 3am. I did loads of bulbs.

It was good.

C’est L’Hamish

To make a Hamish, you will need:

Peach schnapps & vodka

Orange juice, sparkling apple juice and passionfruit juice (if you can find it)

Ice

Step One: Mix juices to taste.

Step Two: Add 1 shot of vodka and two shots of peach schnapps.

Step Three: Decant over ice. (The ice is important.)

Et Voila:

One of my oldest living friends – which is not to say that he’s really old, just that most of my friends dating from his era of my life have either died or I’m not friends with them any more – now has a blog.

He’s really good; I consider him a top-quality friend. If I were you, I would definitely give some serious consideration to the very real option of reading his blog.

It’s fun and it’s free, just like the Scientology personality test. Except even better, because your chances of being seduced into joining a dodgy pseudo-scientific quasi-religious cult created by a sadistic maniac that will brainwash you and take all your money are relatively small.

Grant Morrison Explains Everything

Bonnie & Clyde

This morning I cannot stop playing the cover of Serge Gainsbourg’s Bonnie and Clyde by Boyd Rice and Giddle Partridge which is currently available as a stream from their joint MySpace page.

Go and listen to it! It’s great.

The first bit is, anyway. Unfortunately it fades out after two minutes.

I wish they’d hurry up and finish their album. I will buy it if I have to.

More to the point, he now has a blog, which promises to develop into a prime source of quality rantage which will help keep us all amused as the twilight era of late stage western capitalism skids merrily towards its inevitable cataclysmic meltdown.

H Is For House

Moved into my sister’s place this arvo. It’s great here. I feel like I’m on holidays.

Pretty much everything I have to say today I’ve already said in a comment at Desci’s.

She’s wonderful.

Oh, and Melbourne operative Rorschach has delivered on the nekkid dog pics, and earned his pimp. Check out his blog, it’s not half bad at all.

Finally, as spotted by Tript “don’t call me Tript, it’s weird” Tript, Neurocam.com has changed. Those without freakishly wide screens will want to grab the black bar at the top and scroll along to the right.

The beloved disclaimer screed is gone, replaced by the single phrase “Neurocam is not what you expect.”
