I deserved that. What can I say, it was my first attempt.
This is actually what happens when you live with a punk rock librarian and his brother, a tv-watching chef, camped in the dining room
Damn — I just pitched all my nail polish, too. Had black, silver, blue, purple, red, sparkly red, this awesome metallic hot pink that dried in like 3 seconds …
Woulda sent em yer way with the contraband bull bile if I’d known you were finally gonna get serious about the pedicure action.
(And, uh, it gets easier with practice … 😉
(Black is also the most unforgiving color to work with.)

Damn! Looking forward to the bile though. Yay!
This nailpolish was (a) quite old (not sure if that really makes a difference) and (b) extremely shit quality, purchased for $2 at a dodgy thrift store. Very goopy and difficult to work with.

Can believe both of these things.
Tidied them up and added a second coat last night (after entertaining a most convivial guest) – they look much nicer now.
Yeah, figured as much.
A year ago, I would have felt silly buying decent nailpolish from a cosmetics store or a chemist or something like that – but from a fleamarkety $2 store it somehow seemed ok. Wouldn’t bother me so much now

They’re done badly too.
You just suck Teigan, you suck.
I’m sorry.

Old and cheap makes a huge difference. That’d be the ‘goopy’ and ‘hard to work with’ bit.
Yeah, figured as much.
